The Tom Burgiss Memorial Scholarship is for students pursuing a degree in either healthcare or science, with preference given to those who matriculate at a public college or university. Tom was a second generation pharmacist who served our community and his profession for over 40 years. He was a strong advocate of post-secondary education, and was among the founding members of the Alleghany Educational Foundation.
